Tuning

Every piano has different maintenance needs, but the one thing every piano needs is to be tuned. Regular tuning is crucial to keeping your piano sounding good now, and healthy in the long run.

Pitch Correction

After a strong shift in humidity, a move to a new location, or a long period of time without being tuned, a piano’s strings can lose some of their ability to stretch, and thus stay in tune. A pitch correction is the service to revitalize tired strings.

Repairs

A piano contains thousands of individual pieces, and over decades of use, some of these pieces may need to be repaired or replaced. Whether your piano has sticking keys, broken hammers, snapped strings, or all of the above, we can diagnose and repair.

Regulation

Your piano may sound nice, but does it feel nice to play? Regulation work is careful adjustment of the mechanics to ensure that every key sounds and feels exactly right with every strike.

About

Sometimes a piano is only an instrument. Other times, a piano can be passed down for generations like a legacy, bringing joy not just to a family, but an entire family lineage. In much the same way, the craft of tending to pianos is passed down from piano technician to piano technician, representing a long legacy of work and study. I’m proud to carry on the legacy of the very craftsmen and craftswomen who tended to my own childhood piano.
